What is your pricing strategy?

Rather than charging "whatever the market will bear", we base our pricing strategy on our "materials, parts, and supplies" cost plus a reasonable development recovery amount amortized over multiple unit sales.

The TriTek Corporation was founded in May 1992 in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

 

How much do your systems typically cost?

Typically, our systems cost ~$55,000 USD. For more complex systems with options such as radiation-hardened, micro-alignment, etc., the cost ranges from ~$70,000 USD to ~$250,000 USD.

 

How many systems do you have in the field?

We have delivered over 120 microscopy systems covering 15 unique applications in 17 countries around the world.

 

Can I purchase your software without your microscope?

Currently, we do not sell our microscope control software independent of our hardware as the software is very closely tied with the hardware design and function. However, our CometScore software for processing Comet Assay data is available at no cost.

 

What is your typical delivery schedule?

For standard products such as the AutoComet and CrystalPro, we typically deliver 60 days ARO. For custom products or designs that require minimal adaptation to an existing design, we typically deliver between 60 and 120 days ARO.

 

What kind of tolerances do you manufacture to?

All of our mechanical parts are machined to looser tolerances (±0.005") to keep manufacturing costs relatively low, while holding tight tolerances for mating surfaces to facilitate self-alignment during assembly. All motion components, such as bearings and drive-screws, are employed at a fraction of their tension/force tolerances to ensure maximum lifetime.
